Lubin & Meyer Records Four Big Jury Verdicts in First Half of 2018

• Jury Awards $6 Million for Woman's Death after Surgery for Hernia - A wom­an died following hernia surgery at Winchester Hospital
• $1.6M Verdict for Medical Mistake at Dana Farber - Jury decides in favor of patient suffering 3 years of renal failure and dialysis resulting from Dana Farber medication error.

Lubin & Meyer Land Top 3 Largest Verdicts in Massachusetts

Medical malpractice law firm Lubin & Meyer tops the list of the largest verdicts of the year as reported in Mass. Lawyers Weekly in its mid-year issue which features the largest verdicts, settlements and government settements from June of 2013 through June of 2014.

The verdicts include:

• $24.4 million verdict for delayed diagnosis of  newborn condition leading to organ damage
• $11 million verdict for doctor's failure to diagnose lung cancer
• $4.8 million for misdiagnosed cardiomyopathy leading to death.

$11.48 Million Jury Verdict - Lubin & Meyer

News coming out of medical malpractice law firm Lubin & Meyer via Twitter is that attorneys William J. Thompson and Elizabeth Cranford have won an $11.48 million (including interest) jury verdict in a wrongful death trial of an 8-day old baby. It is believed to be the largest verdict in MA for the year 2011. That's all that is currently available.
