Twice within a week Boston law firm Lubin & Meyer, and Andrew Meyer renowned for its success in winning large verdicts and settlements for victims of medical malpractice and personal injuries, has made headlines. The first was a judgment of $8.4 million to the family of a woman who was sexually abused by a local cantor (See: Cantor to cough up $8.4M for sex abuse. Second for winning what is believed to be (according to the Boston Herald) one of the largest pretrial medical malpractice settlements in New Hampshire — $5.5 million to the family of a boy who was born brain damaged (See: Family awarded $5M after son born impaired.
