NH Legislature Considers Changes to Uniform Trust Code

NH trust and estate lawyer Jan Myskowski writes in the NH Estate Planning Blog that a bill before the NH Legislature would impact estate plans. Senate Bill 289, says Myskowski is "a fairly sweeping piece of legislation" that is likely to pass. It's impact will be felt in areas of:
  • How creditors may assert claims against a decedent’s revocable trust
  • Post-mortem litigation
  • Technical revisions to New Hampshire’s Uniform Trust Code.
For more information on NH's SB 289 and its affect on estate documents, please see the blog post: Bill Before NH Legislature Would Impact Estate Plans.
