The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office has posted on its blog the Top 5 Consumer Scams of 2009. These are the top complaints received by the AGO's office last year :

1. Time Share Resellers
2. Loan Modification Fee Schemes
3. Deceptive Advertising and Solicitations
4. Deceptive Lending Schemes
5. Fake Check Scams
